Mini Express and The Expressions
The Mini Express and the Expressions are the performing groups with the Saskatoon studio of Saskatchewan Express.
The Expressions are our main performance group, consisting of sixteen talented performers who audition annually (usually June) to secure a spot in the group. This group creates two shows per season. The first has a festive theme and is available for booking from November to January. The second is a contemporary pop music show, that features songs that have a positive spin on life and is available for booking from May to August. The Expressions have performed at many charity events, including Telemiracle, Relay For Life, Festival of Trees, Bridge City Boogie, Canadian Blood Service Clinics, fundraisers and events for the Children’s Hospital Foundation, News Conferences, International and National conferences, The Potash Corp Mayor’s Cultural Gala, as well as at schools, private functions, special care homes and more. The kids have had the honor of performing with the Tenors and at the launch of several special Saskatoon initiatives. With advance notice, we are also available to create special songs or memories for your event. Please ask us if you have an idea or something special you would like for your show.
Our cast performed for more just over 15,000 people in 2014 2015.

The Mini Express is our apprentice performance group. This cast is a little bit younger and a group of 14, but each student does audition and through this program learns about discipline and team work. These guys also perform at many events, including Telemiracle, charity events, schools and special care homes. They have great energy and enthusiasm and we are very proud of how much they grow throughout their season. For 2015 2016, they were very fortunate to be able to perform with the Tenors at their Saskatoon stop on September 19th.
Under the direction of vocal coach Meghan Lofgren and choreographer Maegan Marshall.
Favorite shows include The Tenors 2015, and Festival of Trees!
